I have been invisible here on my Blog lately, But it's not that I'm not doing R2 work.
I'm busy doing R3 work. Once Brenda catches up with me, I'll get back to work.
The only thing is, That she'll actually pass me by when she catches up.
So, Don't give up on me guys :) I'll be reborn someday!!!!

I'm still here, Believe it or not.
I've still helping with the R3 and worked out some bugs on the legs.
I think she'll be on her own in about 2 weeks.
I tell you what, Her Styrene legs are better than my wood legs.
I may build a set for myself.
Did you get your dome finish correct?

HAHA!!! Yeah, i finally got it right. I will probably have to do a little steel wooling again after I get the panels in place. I'm using the silicone, and I have one panel clamped at the moment. I wanna see how good it bonds. If that dosent work too well, I will probably go with that tape you told me about. A little expensive, but probably much better than the JB Weld crap. Thats great stuff, but too hard to work with. Looking forward to seeing your droid complete.
A decent glue I use is the construction adhesive bullgrip stuff..PL200 or something? It's CHEAP and works pretty good. Takes 24 hours to set and if you get it on your hands they will be black for a week...but it's cheap and works pretty good. If you get any in places you don't want it it can be cut and pulled away. Thats what I used for all my skins.
