Is that aluminum tubing? You going to cut that by hand?
Yea, I'm going to try and use a bandsaw.
So the cut will be the same on both sides.
Do you think a bandsaw will do the cutting?
Then I'll have to weld the sides and the seam down the middle.
Let me know what you think.

Haha...well I'm not too much for hands on...but a bandsaw should work.
The weld should be ok...just have to grind it all smooth afterwards. I was lucky to have shop guys do that stuff for me (for a price).
I am getting a full C3PO kit from Goldenarmor. His stuff is made from a Star Tours version I hear, and will be a lot of work..but after an R2 it should be child play right? He has some tutorials for assembly on his site too.
I havent seen the new Ewok? As far as a Jawa...should be easy enough to make...
