Look Ma, I aint got no rust on me!!!
I got a chance to get some work done today and I took care of that Rust problem.
I can't put the Ankle on the foot yet, Because the paint is still tacky. So I'll wait about 1 week for the paint to cure and then I'll show the finished product. I did have a couple of Boo-Boo's on the blue area on the cylinder and when I can I'll do some touch up in this area.
The only thing I'll hate, When I put the 2 together they will rub in the Ankle area and that pretty white paint will get scratches.

The 'real' R2 will have lots of paint scratches too..it's all good!! Looks great (as always).
Hey I got my basement all wired up last night!!!!! Time for inspection then I can move on to insulating!!!
Woohoo!!
Cool, I can't wait to see that basement. Maybe this time you'll get to enjoy it.
Is it bigger than the last one?
Calvin
It's really about the same size as the last one, but this one will be a dedicated theater/1:1 star wars props room. I already think it's going to be kinda cluttered with my star wars stuff...but I hope it looks ok. Still room for a watto!
Electrician brtoher in law seemed impressed with my R2. He has seen it before but with the feet I guess it just seemed real all of a sudden. He was impressed with how solid it felt and looked. :)
Any goals for your R2 being complete?
Jason
I'm working more steady at it now and hope to finish it soon.
I will be at the mercy of Jag, Because I need outer Ankles.
But I will complete everything I have right now and will only need those parts.
