More Leg Work

Happy Easter Everyone!!!
I got alittle work done before the Family Feast started.
The Aluminum Shoulder Rings, I had these made along time ago and they are to spec. A man in California (An ex-racer car driver) has a machine shop and he was nice enough to make these for me. He could'nt believe what I was building.
The Black Spacers come with the A&A Frame and I added some Nylon shims to get the correct bolt size.
You can see in the pics how each piece fits together to leave no unwanted play. I will bolt the Aluminum Shoulder to the leg, Since I do not plan to go with the 2-3-2 movement. The only thing I need to figure out is what type of bolt head do I want down in the leg to bolt to the Sat. motors.

Thanks, You know since I'm not doing the 2-3-2 I might remove the motors from the Sats. and drill new bolt holes in the Sat. housings.

Might be a more sturdy hold that way...

Havne't seen you at my blog lately...there are a couple of updates. Nothing R2 related..

I DID pick up a car battery charger for charging my scooter batteries. Seems to work well, but the only thing that scares me is the batteries say not to exceed 1.2 amps when charging and the charger's lowest setting is 2 amps. Problem?

Nice work. Keep it up. Can't wait to get my feet next week and attach them to my legs.

You know, I have'nt even thought about a charger. Funny how you can miss something that important.
I guess I'll find out what everyone is using and figure out how I will isolate it from the electronics while I recharge the batts.
Perhaps a breaker I can turn off while charging.
